The blue was built almost a year before the purple, that is why it doesn't make sense.

I would be surprised to find out that someone copied another Agera owner's car. If there is another matte blue, boring. I'd rather see another color done, like matte red or green or black. You are ordering an Agera, be original and make it unique. Even if it is a color that has been done before, change how it is done.

I've seen copied hypercars before. Since the original Pegaso Veyron showed up in the middle east, I've seen 2 fake Pegaso spec'd Veyrons here. Also a fake Sang Noir.

I'm not talking about people making replicas of a hypercar. I'm talking about someone who has the opportunity to purchase a Koenigsegg Agera R or S and they decide to copy the exact paint scheme a previous owner went with. You are buying a $1M+ car that is known for no two being exactly alike. If I'm spending a $1M+ on an Agera, it should be unique, 1 of a kind. Copying the paint scheme of a previous one just seems like a lack of personal taste and originality. Besides buying a special edition of something where the paint scheme would be "standard", copying another owner's car just seems like a huge waste of a blank canvas.

Fair point over there...Well, if it is of any consolation, there are several Huayra's around sharing just a few color schemes.... We've seen many of them, but just 4-5 colors so far (and even fewer unique ones, like the full CF that was in Geneva 2012)

There's also a Pur Sang replica. Last I saw it was in Dubai about 2 years ago on A.D. plates.

This made me think of something. You could say the Agera is the best Koenigsegg yet, while the best Pagani will most likely remain the Zonda for as long as the company exists. Also, the Zonda was very personal as well. Besides the special editions where you didn't have a choice how it looked, no two Zonda's were the same to the best of my knowledge.

Who said anything about replicas? I'm talking about people buying real hypercars that are spec'd like other well known cars
