Not special enough? The paint has 24 K gold leaf and the interior has 24 K gold thread. That's pretty damn special, and expensive. I guess they could combine the 1400 HP Agera R with the Hundra and that would be even more special.

In case you're wondering; "Hundra" means "a hundered" in swedish; 100.

Love how they use swedish in the name of the models, staying true to your origin.

The only thing I'm wondering now is that there was a rumor that Koenigsegg was going to introduce their new camless/valveless engine with their #100 car at Geneva, but now that this car looks to be a "standard" Agera R underneath the hood maybe they are working on something else for the new engine. May 26th is a long way off, and with the whole One:1 range and this car I feel like they would have something else lined up. Looking into the Unofficial Koenigsegg Registry over on M5board, there are currently 92 known produced Koenigsegg's. However, the Green CF and Purple CF cars aren't accounted for yet. That makes it 94, but with the supposed 5 cars in the One:1 range it brings the total up to 99, and of course this car here, #100, would be next. If sticking to general practice, this car will be built after all 5 of the One:1's are, possibly right in time for Geneva next May. I really hope it has the new engine tech though, unless they are saving that for an all new platform.

If Koenigsegg is working on a rotary valve engine, there is no reason why they would need to design the engine bay. Without getting into the details of specific engines, there is no reason why any engine cannot be converted into a rotary valve layout. There still are "cams" of sorts, the "cams" are the valves themselves. Rotary valves would still need to be driven off of the crank like overhead cams are. There are problems with rotatory valve engines but nothing that cannot be solved. If Koenigsegg is working on a desmodromic engine to get rid of springs that could also be interesting and help eliminate valve float that forces engines to have a redline. Either solution, if made to work for a street car, would set Koenigsegg out there in engine technology.

As far as I know, the camless engine is not meant for the Agera range, not to mention they are still working on it.
Well, in any case, we will get to see what's in store for Koenigsegg, hopefully sooner rather than later.

In a youtube clip you can see no97 in production, my guess is that the One:1's will have chassi numbers in the range of 101 and later.. And that the no 100 should have been with the camless engine isnt even a rumour i have heard. Dont think that have ever been close to reality.

Not worth posting, you only see a naked carbon chassi with a sticker which says "7097".. Its one of those commercials shot at the factory for either some camera product or some sort of polishing machine, dont remember which but i watched it yesterday..
