Everything in ubud closes by evening, including restaurants, except maybe for bebek bengil which closes slightly later, but you can hire a van to shuttle you around for dirt. Just don't get it from the hotel because they charge foreigner rates which is 3-5 times local. Without a hired van+driver you're pretty much stuck in dark in the middle of the jungle lol. Taxis are reluctant to make the haul most of the time.

I go back at least once a year, Bali and the Nasi babi + jembaran seafood never get old.

    Enjoy.
Thanks. I might do 2 days there and 2 days somewhere else on the island. Or 3 there and a couple nights in Singapore.

I usually stay at the St Regis, Ayana or Alila villas. I've also toured the bvlgari resort...the villas are real nice and private, but it's bleeping in the middle of nowhere and super mega far from everything.
