Singapore is an interesting place. For a country the size of a large city, it has much to offer, but I'd suggest other countries if planning a vacation to Asia. The buildings are nice, but there aren't quite as many high rises as other Asian countries. But definitely the Marina Bay Sands is a must see if there and do not forget to bring your passports. Another area to visit is the lively Clakre Quay area, as they have many bars and clubs there. I was shocked the first night in Singapore, we went to the Fullerton Hotel to drink at the rooftop and had a couple rounds of beers with friends. I looked at the bill to find that a Corona was $18 a pop! EVERYTHING inside the Hotels are super expensive, but if you venture to the city, you can find cheap/tasty street foods.

This place is amazing. I was watching the construction and building of this on a show, can't remember if it was on Discovery, NatGEO or History but watching that makes you appreciate the process of building something of this caliber, especially the top structure that's sitting on the 3 towers.

    That would suck!

Singapore GP - isn't that the one where you can basically walk across the street from the hotel to the track - fans can rub elbows with the drivers (well more than they can on any other GP). I just remember everyone saying it was REALLY hot.

I think that and Dubai would be some of the most epic F1 races to see in person.

Some rooms go for 150.00 SG a night. F1 Season is coming up next month. Prices bump.
