BEING THIS IS OUR FIRST PROJEKT POST OF 2013 I HAD TO MAKE
SURE WE IT WAS SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU SAY "WHAT THE F#%K?"
SO OUR CLIENT BOUGHT A NEW FERRARI SPIDER TO KICK OFF THE NEW YEAR
A FEW DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE HE SIMPLY FELT THE COLOR WAS TOO ORDINARY
Dear PML,
I really like all of your projects! I saw (on the internet) a Matte Black MBZ G63 that was at SEMA and I loved it. A few weeks ago I saw that the car belongs to Kim K. I have one reserved and I would like to see some pictures up on LP4 or you could them e-mail to me dfrankeilarsoninc@yahoo.com
Thanks and B.Regards, DJF
The wrap job itself looks great, but I have to say I would have gone with a completely different color. Something about gray exterior with beige interior just doesn't look right to me. As for the whole wrap vs. paint decision, if he plans to sell the car it is much smarter to stick with original paint so I can totally understand choosing to go with a wrap.
I agree with you on the color choice .. I was really pushing for something different ..
However originally the client wanted us to wrap it MATTE BLACK which I told him was just as ordinary as his original RED color ..
Getting him to change his mind and go MATTE GREY was a mission in itself ... but MATTE GREY it was!!
I also see your point in WRAP vs. PAINT however in my professional opinion PAINTING is the way ...
THE WRAP ON THIS 458 SPIDER CAME OUT REALLY NICE
HOWEVER THE CLIENT WAS UNHAPPY w/ THE SEAMS & CERTAIN EDGES
OF WHICH I HAD WARNED HIM ABOUT ON THE FRONT END w/ WRAPPING
Although we warned the client from the beginning that wrapping a car has it's limitations and he chose to go for it ..
However at the end of the day we just want our client to be happy with what he's driving ...
hahaha i wouldnt have the patience to wrap a car and then take it off. but im assuming by your comments you convinced him to go for painted matte grey...
Man... just tell him, "Look we got this, leave the car here and, let us take care of it and, we will call you when it's time to pick it up. TRUST ME."
Situation solved...
Can't imagine how frustrating that must be. Still v=can't wait to see what level of insane awesomeness you bring to the table for the client in version 2.0

You must have told him what I said and, the customer went with it. The wrap didn't work so now you gotta' make cry like a little girl when he gets his ride back!!!!!!!!!!!
guys should have kept it sanded looks perfect that way.
