Back when I had to wear a suit, I got 'em from JCPenney and they were great. I'd definitely go back for any future ones I have to purchase.

At this point I can only afford Sean jean however, I also am a firm believer that the man makes the clothes, so I sell the look as if It were VERSACE, or Kenneth Cole!!

It is also easy to look at Macy's, Nordstrom or other large stores. The usually have great deals on some great suits and then it is easy to get them further tailored if need be. It usually can be the difference between paying good prices and high prices.

If you are looking for classics that will work for more than that season they rarely get marked down much. Nordstrom Rack has some decent dress wear but be careful you are not buying last season's look, stick to classics while building your wardrobe. Some people will shop at Jos A Banks as a cheap alternative to Brooks but only buy Signature Gold label or better, the rest is chinese crap...its all chinese but the Signature Gold line is decent and they are always having some sort of 2 for 1 sale. The other problem is that you may have to spend a lot of money on after-tailoring and need to make sure you have a good tailor which can be pricey and even then hard to find. I will not step into a Mens Warehouse, reminds me of a used car lot with pushy salesmen foisting suspect goods on you.

^I cannot comment on the tier of clothing sold at MW but if i were shopping that tier I would use Macy's.
