Are they really comfortable? I have flat feet and find myself avoiding buying dress or formal shoes of any kind because I know my feet will want to murder me after wearing them for an hour. Are the Gucci/Armani worth the $$$? Truly comfortable? Do they last as well?

I'd say a big "YES" on the Armanis. The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, and have worn them a ton for 2 years now, going strong.

I work for Macys. We had requests like mad last holiday season fors them but we don't carry them. If we did, we would have much more business. They mainly wanted the same shoes you describe. women anyways.... I went for the RLs because i got discount and such for them..
