I should explain they are for free soloing. After climbing in Hawaii a few weeks ago then snorkeling I realized I wanted something better in water then then standard climbing shoes, but better for climbing then crocs. I ended up barefoot swimming, meaning I had to stop to remove my shoes instead of just base jumping while climbing down the rock face (so I wore fins as well, these shoes could also replace snorkeling booties if fins are needed)...
Haha, these shoes are not for free soloing... maybe a little deep water soloing on easy easy climbs, but you couldn't pay me any amount of money to wear those on a free solo...

They are surprisingly comfortable, if you can get over the zero-support thing. I hate having things in between my toes and could somehow handle them. Definitely look goofy

I just wore out my first pair of Five Fingers.... and i LOVE them... i wore them when i was trail running, kayaking, driving, working out, playing some basketball and volleyball with friends... i wore them everywhere except work (stupid dress code)...

I would advise to go by a retial store that has them in stock to try them on first, they are different, but once you get used to them they feel MUCH better than any other shoes...

Also, they are very beneficial for creating better posture and building certain stabilizer muscles in your legs... no matter how bad your arch may be, these are good for helping some of that back pain... (these statements have not been approved by the FDA and reflect only the opinions of one consumer, not the entire medical world or anyone else that believe they know more.... lol)

Get some, have fun, but expect people to stare.... but if you like attention, get it on!
    Stay RICH money!
