Default Carmel Concours on the Avenue 2011 Information

The Carmel Concours on the Avenue 2011 will be held Tuesday, August 16th on the downtown streets of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. While several events claim to kick-off Monterey Week, only Carmel Concours truly does so.

The fifth edition of the Carmel-By-The-Sea Concours on the Avenue will see approximately 175 vehicles vying for first and second in class plus 14 major awards and, of course, Best of Show. This year’s event will present multi-marques from 1940 to 1973, in addition to Porsche and Ferrari from the beginning through 1989.

Carmel-By-The-Sea’s Ocean Avenue will be closed to traffic and sixteen blocks of downtown will be filled with collector cars and related motorized items. As always, an interesting mix of domestic and foreign cars will be presented in front of Carmel’s charming shops, galleries and restaurants.

Carmel on the Avenue Concours 2011 is open to the public for viewing from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 16th. For more information, visit Motor Club Events, Carmel-by-the-Sea Concours on the Avenue, Carmel-by-the-Sea Ocean Avenue Motorclub.

    I'm planning to be there.

Monterey weekend should be huge for L4P, make sure to stop by the L4P/Lamborghini Hospitality Tent and say hello.

I'll look for it. Is the Tent only on weekend?
