So i'm in this thing called cooledge if you didn't know and am able to get my upgrade in 2 weeks from Verizon so the search for a new smartphone begins...

    needs:

easy to type with (I have linemen sausage fingers lol)
good camera (I take a lot of cell phone pics)
    super speedy
would like to have something that is easy to trade from as I want to start doing some investing
    and of course dourable

apple or android doesn't matter to me

Oh, I'm coming from a droid 2 after an HTC incredible (hated the incredible broke every 3 days I swear...)

    Thanks,
    Hoss

Based on your spelling I would say an iPhone. (yeah, I just went there.)

It is all personal preference, the GNexus is the best phone on the market in my opinion, at least for now.

Haha thanks, I heard iPhones are pretty slow though. I mean my phone is archaic by today's standards but it there a major difference in speed because I do a lot of multitasking on my phone.

The 4s isn't slow by any means, its GPU actually out performs any android phones out there, although it is running an 800Mhz a5 which is considerably slower than the 1.2-1.5 omap and qualcomm chips android is primarily based around. But if you want 4g there isn't even a comparison to be made concerning android and the iphone. Also if you want a better screen, android would be the hot ticket.

Not to sound mean but I feel like you are trolling. You start off with poor spelling and grammar which would be understandable if english was not your first language. Because I don't know you that could be possible so I have no heart burn there. However, you want suggestions claiming for an "apple or android" phone but then you say you heard the iPhone is slow.If its so "slow" why would you want it then? Both the iPhone 4 and 4s are fast phones and I do multi-tasking everday with no noticeable speed slowdown.

If you aren't trolling, my top 3 phones would be the iPhone 4 or 4s or the Galaxy S2

Not trolling at all just thought it would be funny to misspell some stuff in the heading my fault if that offended you... Anyway I said I had heard I have not had experiences with an iPhone, hence my asking.

Take a chill pill bro. He has taken the time to make an avatar. Good in my book, whatever that is worth. What phone do you want?

I got the galaxy S2 and love it. it's pretty much the same as an iPhone, besides the selection of cases, imo (unless you're in that apple cult) Both have tons of great apps. If you travel a lot, i'd suggest the S2 because it's much easier to unlock and use in other countries with a new sim card. Also if memory is important, like having lots of music/movies or taking tons of high-rez pics and hd video from your phone. the iphone 4S has only 16gb with no expandable memory and the S2 has 8gb with a microsd slot to add up to 32gb.
