So we just got the new 80" Sharp LED TV out here. Am I crazy for wanting to put this thing in my Media Room? Right now I have the 60" Sharp Led and it's amazing but I've always wanted the bigger and better things out of life.
I have the 60" Quattron LED and love it for all occasions. Took some time to get used to the super fast refresh rate because it's more like looking through a window at the scene than watching TV. Picture is awesome and we shopped a lot. If I was still a bachelor I'd be into the 80" but even I admit that's a huge TV for anything less than a gymnasium sized room.
Fantastic TV!!! Before i had in my media room 60 inch plasma and change it to a 3D home cinema projector and electric screen of 138 inch.
Now the movies are better
I just decided to go with the projector for a movie/sports room. The new HD ones suit, and hanging from the ceiling about ten feet from the wall it'll give me an 80" picture.
I have a 60 inch Mitsubishi DLP HD 3D and I love it. Its the same technology that movie theaters use. It cant be hung on wall but its all good. I want the 92 inch DLB for basement. Girlfriend said not until I sell 60....
i just did the same thing. I was originally planning on doing a projector but got talked out of it. So instead we got the 70in Aqous Quattron TV and a boston acoustics surround sound system. The contractors are redoing my basement right now ill post pics of it when it is done. We also picked up these really cool Palliser Home Theater Seats. But unfortunately, the seats wont be delivered till the middle of April.
Sat at BJ's brewery tonight and was mesmerized by there 103" panasonic plasma. Although this thing is 3+ years old they still carry a second mortgage price tag. It was huge and glorious and I want one haha.
On a more reasonable note I think I'm gonna go with the sharp 80 in the new house and sell my 109 projector
