Default Phone Upgrade Time: Need some input

So I have held out as long as I could with Verizon and not upgrading so I don't lose my unlimited data. However I am only finding myself using 3GB a month and my company took over payment for my cell phone so it's really a mute issue now.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S III and I never really cared for it. Been a little over a year and now the microphone is barely working. No one can hear me when I am talking so it's time to dump it.

Of the Verizon line-up, I've got some phones in mind and I wanted to hear any input on any of them.

    HTC One or One Max

    Motorola Droid Maxx

    Samsung Galaxy S5

    Reluctantly, Apple iPhone 5S

    Any other suggestions?

Interested in replies. I carry two phones and need a replacement for my Droid. Really wish there was a American-made device that I could consider.

I've been an HTC guy in these last years and I've loved every new phone from these guys. From the One X, to the HTC One and right now I've just bought the new HTC One M8 which is a true masterpiece. I think it's freaking brilliant - really fast, with an awesome design and neat features as well. I've read a lot of reviews before picking it up and most people say it's the best thing right now. I agree and I totally recommend it.

1: get an iPhone 5S or wait till iPhone 6
2: why would you want an American made phone? does it even matter where its made?
3: if you carry 2 phones why have 2 phones with overlapping features? I have an iPhone 5 for official work/business and 2 Nokia burners that are not registered to me nor have gps/data/tracking capability for other purposes in life.

Sell your line on eBay. People will pay a lot for unlimited data.

But I'd wait for the iPhone 6.

I upgraded on Verizon from my unlimited data plan and they gave me 6 GB for the same price as the unlimited was. I got the Galaxy S5 and I love it. Way better than my previous iPhone 4S.

2.) Why not? I would prefer to not support 15-hour per day, slave labor by purchasing Apple products. Not the point. Back on topic.
3.) Personal/business. The two have minimal "overlapping" features. No clue where you pulled that from.

So, you recommend the 5S/6? Excellent.

Are any smart phones even made in America?

Also how come you're losing your unlimited data just by upgrading? I just upgraded with AT&T and got to keep unlimited data due to being grandfathered in

Because that's how Verizon saves money.
