    Default iPhone 4s question

I have a 4s that my friend jailbroke (even though I told him not to) and I notice there is a software update (6.1.3) can I update my phone with it jailbroken or will it mess everything up? I rather have it un jailbroken but don't want to lose all the pictures/apps I have on it (even though they are backed up)

    Thanks!

Don't update. 6.1.3. is not jail broken yet.

It won't mess anything up if you update. You will just lose your jailbreak and any apps you got from Cydia.

Everything else will remain the same.

Seriously?! So if I update I'll go back to normal and have all my pictures and regular apps? I don't have anything from Cydia anyways

Don't update directly from your phone (over the air). You have to plug your iPhone into a computer, backup and update and restore. If you update over the air while jailbroken it'll throw your iPhone into a loop. I wouldn't update the 6.1.3 since its not jailbreakeable yet.

He says he doesn't want it jailbroken anyway.
