Default Thinking of setting up a small rally in DC/MD/VA area

I'm a huge fan of GoldRush, Gumball, Bullrun and all the other awesome rallys that a lot of L4P members get to do. Me and some of the guys from my car club have been talking about setting up a small weekend rally in the Md/DC/VA area. Not everyone can take off of work for days at a time and spend thousands of dollars for a buy in and 5 star hotels. We'd start early Saturday morning, meet up and an awesome hotel that night and party of course then resume Sunday morning.

I'm looking for any tips and ideas for this rally and some cool stopping points along the way. It'd start somewhere outside of DC and end up....somewhere in MD/VA.

Any Gold Rush vets out there that could give some advice on setting this up?

Would there be any interest in this from L4P members? Already have LOTS of people interested in it on other forums.

Just a suggestion...do a drive up to Atlantic City. There are plenty of rest stops along the way and AC obviously has lots to do, including hotels, casinos, restaurants, etc.

I think it is possible and would be willing to assist with putting it together...

The best way to start is by getting a map and pick your destination points and figure out how long it takes to get to each one. Then figuring out the starting point that would be convenient for everyone participating. They are tons of thing to do in the tri-state area, A.C. would not be my first choice when nobody has been winning up there... we got Live right at Arundel. You can do all the club spots or pick a lounge to have a bite eat and chill before after or during the event. Let's make something happen here...
