It's funny how when you watch the process of how these supercars are made and the processes they take to get the paint perfect. So much time, but it still isn't. Guess that's what we have detailers for! Beautiful job! Color is awesome.

Nice job. When I ordered my new Mustang, I told the salesman to tell the new car prep guy not to put tire shine on the tires. Its usuall y some kid that puts half the bottle on the tires and then gets it on the wheels.
I have ran out of room for watches, Im now going to collect cars...

If I had just bought a 500K car and found paint and finish issues, I'd take it back to the dealer to let them correct it.

They would probably make it worse. You want some porter/car wash guy putting a spinning pad to your brand new car? What I would do is have someone like Detail Dave do exactly what he did...and then give my dealer the bill.

Dealers sell and service cars, thats it. Whatever detailing they do is on the basic level and often times, well, actually all of the time... results with more harm done than good.

Also most of the damage comes from the factory itself. With newer harder clear coats and newer materials being painted (composite panels, carbon fiber etc) the finishing processes factories use are not always up to the newest standard. What worked to polish a Ferrari 10 years ago doesnt work now... and unfortunately too few people notice to make a big stink about it.

So far I have seen horrible factory finishes from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche (On GT3 +RS models) and McLaren.
