How does a brand new Porsche that is one week old look this bad? Anyways, much improved for sure, but 25 hours to fix brand new paint?
Is sanding blasting paint an add on to the price at this dealership?
The dealership blames the clear guard guy. The clear guard guys blames dealer. Either way it was messed up. We peeled the clear bra/guard and polished the whole car.

So many factors come into play that affect longevity. The environment it's in, how long between washes, how it's washed, etc..... The quick answer is the coating manufacture that we used says the coating will last 2 to 5 years.

most coatings are in the 2 year range.

    factors that determine durability:
    how car is maintained
    car washed or hand washed
    spray coating booster vs nothing
waxing on top vs spray coating

    etc.

wax it and you will lose the coating attributes
spray coat it with the same manufactures spray coating (gtechnique has liquid crystal, cquartz finest has reload) and it will extend the durability and keep the characteristics of the coating the same or similar (beading, sheeting, etc)

I use Cquartz finest and reload and couldn't be happier
