I'll start. I marinated a rump roast in a seasoning overnight and then cooked it in the slow cooker all day today. The roast was accompanied by a OrganicGirl salad and a side of veggies that were cooked along with the roast in the slow cooker. The prep and results.......

Picked up a couple strip steaks at Kuby's (Secure knows of them- a local German butcher) but didn't get to Lifetime (the gym) until about 7:30. Grinded out a workout until 9p while Christopher was in the kid's area and Steph was home catching up on sleep. Steph and Chris ate before I went to the gym, so we'll save steaks in fridge until tomorrow nite.

So, my exciting dinner was protein shake with salad, a little leftover grilled chicken breast, a white peach, and now a few Crown Royals and waters on the rocks.

I love breaking out the slow cooker- the food doesn't look exotic, but damm, the taste. . .nothing is better than braising or smoking, except maybe raw.

haha, well its a good thing the quality of my camera phone food pics arent even close to the quality of the food. I'll post pics later but here's the last 3 days...Perbacco in SF, and Ikon Grill, Salty's on Alki, and Serious Pie in downtown Seattle

Tonight I think im just going to make a blend a go to the gym.

Started things off with some Belgian Wit style beer from Mill Street; a local craft brewery. These guys are part of an amazing gentrification of the old distillery district in Toronto.

Prepared some zucchini for grilling with a bit of salt, pepper, sunflower oil, and paprika for colour.

Fish is ready to go too. One Salmon fillet sliced down the center and stuffed with fresh garlic. Lemon pepper seasoning and bit more paprika for kicks.

Romaine lettuce salad with Vidalia onion and English cucumber.

Calorie wise dressing... Should have made my own :)

Can't forget the pub style garlic bread (whole wheat)!

Smells great on the grill!

I'm not much for plating, but at least it all fits!

And some dinner entertaintment.

No one can do broken hearted like Bogey!

(I'll have to work on my settings. It's supposed to be black & white, not black & blue)

Bon Appetit!

Was in the city and went to a Thai place...

Started off with the Thai/Peanut salad, then had the Red Curry stringbeans/peppers and chicken...
