I love sriracha! But it's so potent in flavor that something delicate like clams would be over powered imo. But as long as you liked it, it's all good.

Yeah, it only needed a few drops. I had enough clams in the mix that you could still taste it. I'm adding crab meat next time too.

Okay--So, this time I added marinara sauce and a tad more hot sauce. The wife loved it but she said it: Tastes like spagetti." Of course she was jealous with envy because she didn't think of doing what I had done. Of course she went behind my back and get a second helping.

I still wasn't satisfied. Next step: I added marinated Salmon, smoked oysters, crab meat, shrimp, chunks of tomatoes, and cut back a little on the marinara sauce and added the same amount of hot sauce paste. Went full HAM and mixed all the ingredients separately--All the meats in one bowl, all the veggies in the other bowl.

Sauteed the veggies and and meats separately.

In the last 5 minutes put meats and veggies together and let simmer at low. Needed a little more hot sauce.

...And finally you have what is presented to you below. Let me put it to you this way: A made enough to serve 10 people. The wife and I wiped it out in two days.

    Thumbs up

Have I mentioned how much I love Mexican comida...?

Freshly made Guacamole en la molcajete can be a meal in itself for me with some fresh chips!

I typically get a Steak Molcajete when I get Mexican food.

Going to be doing seafood for the next couple nights.

Almost went thai tonight but ended up at Charlestons for some ribs (fall off the bone, eat em with a fork), baked potato loaded no bacon, beans. Plus house salad with crosant. Nom nom nom.

So, I tried this vegan dish with a Columbian flare. Carrot crouquette with sauteed spinach, tomatoes and fried green plantains. Quite an arduous ordeal. Pretty good, though.
