    Question Juicing

Looking to try and dedicate myself to this for a month and monitor the progress along with my daily jog routine.

Anyone else on here juicing? lol. This stuff looks nasty but I'm willing to give it a try. I'm going to buy a Breville juicer and some veggies tomorrow and give this a shot.

Anyone have some favorite veggie/ fruit combos they'd like to share?

I'm trying to ween myself off processed foods.

My best friend has a Omega juicer and we've made some nasty stuff. Most recently we used Apples and pomegranate and that was really good.

I alternate between the following M-F:
    - Carrots, celery & beets
    - Apples
    - Pears

Took a bit getting used to the first juice. Currently, looking to pair the pear (lol) with something else and adding a new juice or 2.

My feelings on steroids are that they.....

Oh wait, this isn't about juicing in sports.

Here is a free juicer with my sincere apologies:

So I got my juicer and made a drink consisting of cilantro, shard, carrots, kale, and a cucumber.

It looks like something that came from a swamp, and the taste... I can't do... Can't do it. The aftertaste i cant even describe. I'll just steam my veggies like everyone else.

But I did make some very tasty and fresh orange juice!

I do juice for a long time now and I must say that it is the best thing I did for myself ever! I look 10 years younger, my skin is clean and nice, have a lot more energy, and the best part..it helped me quit smoking. I simply love it and can't stay without it. My morning juice is: lettuce, parsley, celery, watercress, mint, cucumber and a lime. Sometimes I put a clove of garlic in it too but that is for more advanced juicers and garlic lovers. Afternoon is carrots, red beets and apple. I do juice fruits too, but not as much. Delicious but too much sugar. Love the watermelon juice though and I juice it with the rind. They say it has something (forgot the name) that is very good for you and your Johnson and it's very hard to find in other fruits. Like a natural viagra. It works, trust me! Of course all the veggies are organic and I don't peel them. Not even the lime. I just wash them well.
Two good webpages about juicing (also good for motivation at the beginning)

    have fun!

I just eat veggies, can't really do an all veggie juice.

On another note, added kale and lime to my carrot cocktail and it's not that bad. Takes some getting used to.

We got a juicer a few weeks ago and have liked using it so far. We've been typically trying to mask the flavor of the vegetables with a fruit that has a stronger flavor that we like more. I've found that celery and cucumber has a strong taste stand out more than other veggies, but most other vegetables can get covered up with a good fruit flavor - apple, pear, pineapple. Ginger is also pretty good for you and it has a really strong flavor that can cover up others, but use it sparingly because it is strong.

We'll also blend in a banana or avocado afterward sometimes with a hand blender.
