Amazing transformation! My father's in the business, and the job you did is top-notch!

(I don't think I could function with such an open bathroom layout, but that's just me.. )

Thanks! The open shower now has a frameless glass screen in it, like one of these from Hydroscreen but it has no movable parts, its just a sheet of glass.

    great job.

i am a homebuilder and i can honestly say that remodel work is hella more challenging than new constr.

    great job
Tell me about it! I think going into it not having a 100% idea of how complex things could be was probably a plus looking back on it, you just deal with the problems as they arise, assess what you want to achieve and move on.

Cheers, thats nice to hear! Your right on the bathroom layout, it looks great but it isn't a functional solution, I put a glass panel in with no frame(s) just mounted on a hinge that my cousin organised from his company, so it's pretty unobtrusive IMO.

Here's the finished photos, sorry they are a little small.

    Road frontage

Driveway enterence, wall to provide privacy from main road.

    Other side of wall

The courtyard behind the wall visible in the above shot

    Alternate angle

    Living area

    Kitchen

    Entertaining

Next on the cards is the extension of the driveway down into my carport which still looks the same as this shot from earlier.

The plan is to run the driveway down to it and convert this into a secondary garage with a facade to match the house along with electric door, power and some other goodies.

Awesome job on the renovation! It was nice seeing all of the construction and demolition pics then the finished home! I love the style of your home. I will be making a thread soon on our whole home renovation.
