Great project. Can't wait to see the finished product. I own a residential construction management company in The Hamptons, NY so it's cool to see how people are building in different parts of the country.

Hmmm, that's going to be a killer staircase; reminds me of the one in Titanic, only reversed.

Very nice house/layout IPO. Looks like your parents have a good amount of hosting friends and family in mind. I can imagine all the Indian dinner parties now.. mmm getting hungry just imagining it.

BTW, that house in the background with the terraced back yard.. What is down below?

Was at the house.. snapped just a few pics.

    Huge oval dome in foyer.

Interior windows. Finished like regular windows with trim but no glass

It almost seems like a shame to cover the dome backbone up, it looks great just as it is.

I like the glassless windows in the foyer/2nd story(I assume that's the foyer anyway), we have almost the exact thing in our foyer.

very nice and really big home you're building!

Thanks for sharing your bulid in progress with us, I'm already curious what it'll look like once finished...

    A pool is also planned?

The method although couldn't be more different from how we build houses over here in Europe...
