Cabinets are in and trim work is almost done
Everything looks like it is coming along! Very nice.
I see someone is not that good with the drywall skimming/finishing....the lines/screws look nice - but normally drywallers will mud those screws in one sweep and 'tuck' at the end.
Unless you did it. :D I like the bathroom and it looks very clean with the choice of tiles.
Love the cabinets in the kitchen too. Great color and choice.
Old houses always have setbacks. lol
Not to piss on your reno, but don't you have P&Z and maybe a Historical Committee to deal with in regards to a renovation like this considering your home is most likely considered a historical property? Just curious...
SMW is this in Chicago?
RaceMinded, personal residences usually do not fall into historical significance unless it was famous.
Historical doesn't usually care about interior renovations.
The house is in Charleston, and the only thing BAR and Historic Preservation care about are exterior; just about everything from glass, to paint, brick walls, driveway, and so on require permission to alter.
