Post Going abroadfor a long time in need of a good GPS unit

So I've searched a lot of forums and seen old threads about GPS', I am kinda concerned for my car I have the fear that it might get stolen because I have to go abroad and work outside of the country for a long time.

My concern, is there any reliable GPS tracking devices that is easy and cheap to use so I can monitor my car while I'm away, I can't decide between LiveView GPS, Trackimo GPS, Sparknano GPS etc. if you could recommend me some I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance

I looked up Trackimo, and they pretty much provide trackers for cars, and also have those SOS buttons in case of an emergency that looks neat.

So yeah, I know trackimo is good but do you suggest any other GPS tracking devices? Other than trackimo ofc, kinda conflicted on what to purchase.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

There's like a lot of GPS devices available for purchase online and I don't know any recommendations for GPS tracking devices since i'm no expert.
Also, if you're gonna work abroad for a really long time, I suggest lending the car to your trustworthy friend or family. They might be an alternative to GPS tracking devices since they could just send you messages online, but then again the same problem might occur if they want to automate things.

Kinda want a GPS that tracks my car thru my phone it's more convenient than buying a hardware specifically for the GPS, basically I want a GPS app that I can attach the GPS to whatever I want to, since I bring my phone everyday when I'm out.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think most available GPS devices online have an app in tandem with the GPS tracker through 3G.

Yeah, I don't know much about any 3G GPS or whatever , that's the problem. I want something worth my buck. I guess Trackimo has 'em so I guess I'll try using it and I've googled it further and saw it has a phone app.

Looks interesting, i'm gonna check for reviews. It's probably one of those high-end stuff online.
