Ferrari is venturing into unchartered waters. This ridiculously rare 1990 Riva Ferrari 32 speedboat, the 28th of just 40 ever produced, is going to auction via RM Sotheby’s – and is expected to fetch upwards of $200,000.
Like any Ferrari, the Riva oozes luxury and speed. Twin 390 horsepower V-8s are located at the stern of the ship, along with the Vulcano 400 engines that power the speedboat to 100 km/h (62 mph) quickly.Staying true to their roots, the racing-style engines fit the F1-inspired hull well, finished in the classic Rosso Corsa colour. It’s hard to believe this timeless design was conceptualized a quarter century ago. With just 78 hours of usage, the Riva 32 is in supreme condition (the sleeping cabin has never been used), and makes a unique and very exotic addition to any dock.
