Your mansion can’t take you anywhere, but, with a 5000 nautical-mile range, the Lady Lau can. There are bigger yachts in the world than the 231-foot Lady Lau, but not many, and, with a current asking price of about $43 million, there aren’t many that are more expensive either. Boats with grand pianos and elevators onboard tend to have a lot zeros at the end their price tags.Finished in 2010 and constructed by Italian boat impresarios, Codecasa, the Lady Lau is an ultra-luxury yacht that boasts five levels of unparalleled accommodations. The top deck features an inside area, with cinema and gymnasium, that open to an outdoor pool and sitting area. Below that, the owners deck consists of a dinning area adjacent to a gaming room and bar. Up front there’s a full-beam master bedroom, with walk-in closet, bathroom and adjacent studio.Taking the previously mentioned elevator down a level will put you on the main deck, where you’ll find another dinning area with 18-seat table and the all-important grand piano. It’s also where you’ll find the main galley, three guest cabins and two crew cabins. The two decks below that house laundry, storage and garage areas. The engine room contains two Caterpillar 3516B engines, each producing 2,448 hp, which allows it to cruise at 12 knots and hit a top speed of 17 knots.Lady Lau currently calls Palm Beach, Florida home, but its 5,000 nautical-mile range, it can take you just about anywhere.
