If you’re looking for a new yacht to add to your collection, but can’t stand all the ruckus they make while they cruise, you might want to keep an eye out for Numarine’s newest addition: the 78HTS flybridge yacht.
The saloon features an open concept design and is flooded with natural light, giving it an airy, fresh feel. Below the deck is a large master suite with a suite boasting a walk-in shower, enclosed toilet and his-and-her sinks. The 78HTS also contains three guests suits, each with their own en-suites as well.
But the most interesting feature (and the reason why you may really want to purchase it) is its “Silent Package”. It really is exactly what it sounds like: this yacht is as quiet as they get. This package relies on a bank of batteries which allows everything from the air conditioning to the entertainment systems to operate at extremely quiet levels without all the noise or vibration from a diesel engine or generator. This means dining on the galley belowdecks and actually making meaningful conversations much easier without the droning of an engine keeping all your electronics working.
Even when the Silent Package is off, however, the vessel is still a quiet one. The decibel levels reach approximately 66 dB at low 20-knot cruising speeds. To put it into perspective, 66 dB is about as loud as normal speech.
The 78HTS is able to reach a maximum of 38 knots with its twin 1,200 horsepower MAN engines and also includes other features such as a tender garage with a submersible swim platform on a hydraulic lift, an electric telescoping paroles and plenty of sun beds so guests can tan at their leisure.
While prices are not yet available, the 78HTS is available to be purchased.
