The Monaco Yacht Show is the perfect place to feast your eyes upon the most beautiful, one-of-a-kind yachts from around the world. It is also the place to discover the newest innovations and concepts for yachts that will be created in the near future. One such design is none other than a super yacht dubbed TIME, a four-storey concept designed by Henry Ward Design in collaboration with BMT Nigel Gee.
TIME features an 18 meter floating lodge that is part of the super yacht but serves as a detachable raft when travellers grow bored of the monstrous yacht or would like to explore shallower waters. Atop of the raft is a helicopter pad which houses an autonomous drone which can carry four passengers, making it ideal for quick travels to land for supplies or flying back “home” to the yacht after a little bit of exploring.
The skydeck towers 15 meters above sea level and is accessed from the sundeck where the massage room, sauna and gym is located. The sundeck also has a rope-less rock climbing wall for the adventurous. When your limbs can no longer take the climb, simply let go and splash into the pool below!
The lower level beach club also has a nifty little secret of its own. When the floating lodge is off exploring, a huge splash pool is revealed and the sides fold down, creating 190 square meters of deck around the pool. Talk about a transforming super yacht!
Although no concept photos exist of the interior, it is also bound to be just as impressive as the vessel’s exterior. TIME features a full beam owner’s suite and three VIP cabins on the main deck. The main living area also boasts floor to ceiling windows and views through the glass walled swimming pool, ensuring the view is always a good one! TIME cruises through the waters at 15 knots with its twin azimuthing drive system which pumps out an impressive 3,000 kW. While we aren’t sure when this bad boy will be produced, we can only hope it will be within the next couple of years!
