Surreal. Look how small the P51 Mustang is next to the modern day A10 Warthog, F15 Eagle and F22 Raptor.

Figther planes have come a long, long way.

Interesting fact: In WWII, the best climb rate of any prop fighter was about 4,000 per minute sustained. Today, there are planes that climb at over 50,000 feet per minute.
    Current ride:
    2007 Audi RS4

    2001 Diablo 6.0VT
    2006 SL600
    2003 Porsche 996TT
    2002 BMW M3 widebody
    2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R

Yeah, it is so small. Have to wonder what that P51 thinks when flying next to those planes.

The pics with all 4 planes in them are awesome. Great seeing where we've come from and are now.
