Too Cool - Aviation Furniture/Art
Ran across this site on Flipboard and had to share. They make some really cool pieces out of aircraft parts. I highly recommend you check out the following link for yourself as I will only post a few of my favorites from it. Anyways, I found their stuff very unique to say the least, and figured some others here could appreciate some of their work as well. Feel free to share your opinions.
Motoart | Own a piece of aviation history
First up, a conference table that caught my attention.Bring the iconic Boeing 747 into your conference room with MotoArt’s newest piece made from a General Electric engine nacelle. At 12’ wide this high-mirror polished table seats up to 12, and includes a set of 6 pop-up connection ports. The custom fabricated engine stator is set off with internal LED lighting in a color or your choice, and topped with a B-52 engine spinner.
Like the easily recognizable classic Jumbo Jets, Motoart’s Jumbo conference table is in a class by itself.
Of course you can always get the smaller coffee table made from a DC-9 turbine instead.
I also found this desk to be very striking.

The owner of this company was on an episode of that Real Estate show on Bravo. His office is quite cool. His pieces........off the chart expensive.

I follow them on fb. They have some pretty awesome pieces though. Can't even imagine what their profit margin might be.
Edit: Just found a pretty interesting article on them. Apparently their "big break" was about 20 C-119 doors that they bought for $100 each. Sold the first one for $4k, and the last 10 for $10k a piece. 10000% profit ain't too damn shabby

Like others have said, very pricey but there is a market for the stuff. They had a display set up at the Reno Air Races a few years back and had sold every single piece by mid week.Madness takes a toll. Please have exact change...
