The S-76 is a civilian version of the blackhawk. Cool Pic dc350! VIH is an awesome company.

Mustang leased(iirc) most of VIH's light fleet, so Technically that's Mustang, not VIH. Splitting hairs I know.

Don't like any of them prefer the cheaper end like the EC120 OR the bell 407 or any of the twin squirrels

Bells are fine, but I think Eurocopter is where it's at right now.
There are only four sports: bullfighting, motor racing, mountaineering, and troll hunting; all the rest are merely games.

A bell 412, 430, 206, and a 429 all look distinctively different... Not to mention the new 525 relentless. I have flown Eurocopter's and can tell you, Bell is where it is at. Fennestron anti torque systems may look cool but in my experience they're generally more squirrelly. Do you guys have experience piloting these aircraft?

Yep, flown in many eurocopters last one was the As355 twin squirrel also flown the gazelle and ec120

Flying a jet ranger in October

And while I agree to an extent on looks te bell 206 looks fairly similar upto the 222/430 obviously you have the 212 and 414 but I know what I mean! I personally prefer the eurocopters for looks and performance although in an engine failure the 206 has a nice amount of inertia in the blades!

Good stuff Lee. I definitely agree, the amount of rotor inertia in the 206's is heavenly.

In the army we learn on the 206 first for primary and instruments, then transition. I much prefer my twin engine HH-60M over the weed whacker. No creature comforts, but always fun.
