    I said F35 cause the OP was asking about best looking. not cheapest or best performing. F22 and F35 are very different as the F35 is multi-role. Also the F35 can be carrier deployed which makes it automatically cooler

    Meh, they claim "multi-role", but all they are really saying is it has VTOL capabilities. The F22 is just as competent as a strike fighter as the F35 is, and leagues better as a dogfighter.

    As for looks, I guess that's personal preference. I still think the F22 is better looking than the F35 haha

    I don't buy into the multi-role concept.

    To me, it just means that the concept is inherently compromised in many ways, as it is optimized for nothing..

    Have you seen the F35 in person? I wasn't so excited about them but I have seen a few down at Eglin and they are crazy looking and I love them.

    I've seen a few static. Never seen a demo in person. Still prefer the F22. But everyone has their preferences

    Take it from a Naval Aviator...Nothing had lines like the F-14 but I do love my USMC F/A-18 :-)
