Airbus Corporate Jets and the Italians at Pagani Automobili have teamed up to create a new cabin design for the ACJ319neo styled after the Huayra hypercar.

Called Infinito, one of the most striking features of the cabin is its sky ceiling, which can display a live view of the sky above the jet--or whatever else you want. Airbus says this creates an even more spacious feeling in what is already the widest and tallest business jet cabin on the market.

Pagani's Head of Interiors, Alberto Piccolo, led the team responsible for the cabin's interior, while a team from Airbus handled the layout and user experience.

The interior features natural soft leathers and wood floors, along with carbon fiber trimmed furniture and accents scattered throughout the cabin. Pagani says it took inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci's original combination of art and science. The walls between zones can switch from opaque to transparent at the touch of a button.

Sculpted metal features mirroring the Huayra's interior are used in the light fixtures, with customizable LEDs providing a selection of different ambiances.

“Art and Science can walk together hand in hand: this is the Pagani philosophy. The combination of state-of-the-art composite materials never used before in an aircraft, such as CarboTitanium, with the typical design language of Pagani Automobili, has always represented our signature," said Horacio Pagani, founder & Chief Designer of Pagani Automobili SpA.

"Applying our Reinassance touch into the wider spaces of Airbus corporate jet cabins is the beginning of an exciting new venture for us.”
