Recently a Murcielago customer who had bad luck with other wheel companies' 3 piece wheels such as leaks, bends, etc approached DPE with the following criteria:

  • Custom forged wheel
  • Concave with a lip
  • No possibility of leaking (no silicon, no 2 piece valve stems or ball joints)
  • Complete satisfaction

DPE accepted the challenge and engineered the First 2 Piece Bolted Super Concave wheel. Sorry, no gimmicks, no catchy thread titles here. Just raw on the spot quick photos of the wheel and the wheels on the car.

Thanks everyone for the support. Although we are relatively new sponsors to this forum, we have been established for almost 9 yrs within the wheel industry and well over that in manufacturing and the automotive industry.

We look forward to contributing more to this forum as well as introducing more designs, technologies, and options within our product line.

Thanks everyone again for the support. We strive to give our customers the most comprehensive wheel line up around from 1 piece, 2 piece, and 3 piece custom forged wheels for all makes and models. Our sizing ranges from 17" to 30" depending on wheel series (15", 16" in development), reverse to steplip, concave (shallow and super) to flat to big lip forgings.

It's like a wheel buffet ... something for everyone. Who's hungry? lol

@Aimee we appreciate the continued help and support of DPE.

@Ray it's been a long time. How are you?

Does this wheel design tend to require more counterweight to balance or is it because of the size? Would it be better in a monobloc as far as balance and weight goes?
