    hopefully my image linking works.

this would be somewhat minimal as far as height goes. it would give some visual interest to the street side. interior stairs would need some work but I think a deck with only exteral access to the upstairs might be a cool idea.

if the roof goes higher it just starts opening up the usable space on the second level.

I kept a regulation size table in mind as pool is a passion of mine. I hate when people don't allow enough room for regular size cues.

some ideas using the long side for the doors. of course, changes like these reconfigure the upstairs. there are plenty of ways to configure this so demands of the upstairs might drive the design of the exterior.

as you can see in the example that includes a section, I offset the centerline of the roof which increases the roof height and give quite a bit more floor space.

also need to start thinking about overall height. As I said before, the garage right now is the min 8'2" for 7' garage doors. As we increase height in areas, some of the proportions may need to change.

21' to the highest point on the first ones, 23' on the offset roof.
if there are height regulation, be aware that sometimes height is measured to the mid point of the slope.

Do work! Let me know if you're taking requests. I've been trying to configure my setup for 6 months now without success.

Nope I dont have anything here. So I can go to any height but just want to keep it flowing with the house. You can see by the pics that I sent to you to get a idea. Like the door on the side I would like to match the same style opening and style as the house with as much room upstairs as possible.

OK, I'll play with the offset roof idea since that will keep the roof line lower to the yard side. I'll raise it a bit to open up the floor space up stairs, and start playing with the man-door and stairs.
