    I have lived in Dubai for over 12 years before I moved back to the USA and I agree that all the media highlights nearly on all the positive stuff (of course).

    In my own opinion and review of the city was that I loved it. The people were amazing and were from all over the globe. The friendships and learning new cultures was something I will never forget.

    I still go back every December-January to visit and reconnect with friends..


    It is very expensive to live and enjoy life there, but if you have the income and cash to live/vacation there, I would recommend it in a heart beat.

    If of course you can withstand the summer heat at over 100F and 90% + humidity.


    on a side note..
    the cars, women, and nightlife was amazing
