    Thank you, that first Ray Kappe pic is very close to perfect for me.

    I like dark colors too but it's just a sick place.

    I love this stuff so much. I've never been a person who's wanted some MANSION of a place, I just want a UNIQUE house. I love modern arch and have done alot of reading on FLW, do you have any websites/books to point me in a direction where I could get some good foundational modern architecture ed-u-macation on?

    nice thread OP! I am currently studying architecture at Mies van der Rohe's IIT. Crown Hall is a must see at least once in your life (i think i take it for granted now having spent countless hours in there working on projects). Also it is very nice to be born and raised in Chicago, and being around such great classic modern architecture.

    i really suggest you go and watch Californication, great series, great houses.

    Let's get this thread going again! I know this is going to sound really pretentious, but I think too much of the modern homes thread is sh*t and I think we need to return to the masters! I'll start with some Lautner, it would be great if everyone would include the names of the architect and residence for others to learn!
