Rug buying trip to india
My Uncle just made a trip to India and Nepal, for his rug company. Knick buys all his rugs from the Oriental Carpet!

Where in India is that? The people look South Indian but I see what looks like Hindi on the walls.

That's a producers house. When visiting he shows us around the country and takes us to different factory's as well as giving us a place to stay. A wealthy producer in India.

Nice expose! BTW, where in India is this? Looks like a small village/town? And has your uncle been there before or was this his first time?
Even in the big/developed cities, a trip to India is humbling to say the least.NSX - 80mm Turbo/built motor

It was his first trip to India. Going there the producers show you around and give you a place to stay as well giving you your own personal chauffeur.

i have always wanted to go to India.
My wife and i have a new found respect/appreciation for the people who put their life into these threads we use as decoration for our silly rooms in our silly homes.
It was great talking with your uncle about his trip the other day.
Thank you for the wonderful photos!

very cool. We bought a carpet and they told us it was woven by hand by two Tibetan monks and it took them two years!
