Thread: Canada Till Friday....!

I'm in Canada until this friday on a little vacation, was wondering if there was anything car wise ta do here? Staying just outside Vancouver... Any L4P members close by, or know of anything cool goin down in the next week?!

Where are you staying? What do you like to do?

Unfortunately, you are here for the rainy season which basically commenced last week. If you get a clear day, make sure you head up the Grouse Mountain Tram and check out the view of the city from way above. Shame you are heading out of town this Friday though, as the Canucks play on both saturday and sunday at GM Place. The city tends to go a bit hockey crazy.

But yeah, as stated above, fire off some things that generally peak your interests and we can do what we can to help out.

Right on.... wish i could stay for the game, i love hockey!!! Am up in Whistler and hit up a pretty cool sipline today. Got some great shots from up on the mpuntain. Got ta see the bobsled course for the 2010 games too.... that was bad ass! Gonna be in Vancouver all day thursday, and stay the night. Any suggestions on where ta go... maybe a nice hotel ta stay at?!

I have done ZipTrek up there too. Going a 1000meters upside down at 80km is good fun eh.

If you want some great views from your hotel, stay at the PanPacific right at the harbor.
The clubs and bars are for the most part either on Granville (street) or in Gastown (part of downtown). Gastown will have a more relaxed atmosphere. I am not sure what nights will be best, but check out Canvas or the Modern for lounge/clubs in that area.
Depending on who you are with, Brandy's is the uber high end strip club in the downtown core. It is where Ben Afflect got busted cheating on J-Lo, it can be a good time.
