I am 99% sure my girlfriend is getting me a vinturi for my birthday next week. Interesting video showing the venturi in action

I use a venturi for the first 2 glasses. You can definitely taste the difference.
It is vital that we work to a few golden rules. Always work in a small team. Keep a very low profile. Only deal with people who come recommended. And it's like selling anything else: washing machines, hand made shoes, blowjobs. As long as you don't take the piss people will always come back for more. And that is not to say we don't have that special kind of magic that makes two kilos into three. But never be too greedy.

Got a Vinturi; first saw one in use at Trione Winery up in Sonoma. Does the job very well. I got one and you can tell the difference.

I have a Vinturi as well - don't use it all that often, but it makes a small difference. Side-by-side you can tell the wine has opened up a small amount more, but it's not the same as decanting your wine for 30-60 minutes.

If anything, the noise it makes when you pour wine into it makes it worth using. It always starts a conversation while it makes it's slurping sound, and the dogs always do the sideways head thing.

Maybe we can get the admin to hook up a group buy for vinturis.. Holidays are coming up and we seem to have a large wine community

I have this, got it for a gift and wow what a difference in just the bouquet. This gets my vote.
