The Story…..

In special years Mother Nature blesses us with a few barrels that are clearly superior from
everything else in the winery. Given the number of variables that are involved with each
and every vintage this is what makes tasting through the individual lots so fascinating.
These few, select barrels form the foundation of our Herrera designated label.

In celebration of our ten year anniversary we’ve created a limited production, ultra-
premium label under my family name, Herrera. Each wine will be named in honor of one
of my children and will only be produced in years when we discover barrels that are truly
unique and distinctive. Considering the painstaking nature of this process the production
will generally be limited to no more than 100 cases.

The Wine…..

I am grateful that life has afforded me an opportunity to express my love for my family &
passion for winemaking through the creation of a wine that proudly carries our family
name.

Named in honor of my first born child Rebecca, this wine is a reflection of her character…..
Sophisticated, warm and refined with layers of complexity lurking below the surface. Time
reveals a distinct sense of independence and elegance beyond her years.
