I had Opus One 2005 for the first time on my 21st birthday with my family but I was unfortunately very sick and came down with a really bad cold so it was very difficult to really enjoy it but even through the cold, it was amazing compared to the bottles I usually buy when im at school with my buddies.

I had a bottle of 1997 opus one last xmas (my cousin bought a case when it came out). It was in the top 3 wines ive ever had. Loved it, just wish it wasn't 300 a bottle or I would drink it more.

They do have some good vintages and a beautiful winery, but for the most part I think it's overpriced for the flavor
