Default Nice summer sipper - 2007 Navarro Gewurztraminer Cuvee Traditional

I purchased a case of this based on the recommendations of people I trust with their tasting notes, and was not disappointed.

It's a great summer sipper for those who like gewurztraminer on the dry side - refreshing with fresh spring water, kiwi, and lychee fruit both on the nose and the flavor profile. Crisp, nice finish - great for a summer day, and goes with even spicy foods.

Very nice - love Navarro. I remember tasting this (can't recall which year) last time we were there.

Todd, if you like this Gewurzt you should check out the ones from Lazy Creek and Londer (both are right down the road from Navarro in Philo).

TJ's had a nice Gewurz from Michel Leon for a song - something like 7 bucks - but they don't have it anymore, so I switched to this one. When this case is gone, if I'm still in the mood for gewurz, I'll give the Lazy Creek and Londer ones a try.
