Best wine for Kobe steak?
Hi guys,
Any suggestion on a wine that would best pair with Kobe steak?
Going to a steakhouse here in Boston tomorrow.
Wanted to have an idea. I know champagnes but I know nothing about wine.
Thanks!Last edited by Hovy; 12-06-2009 at 04:36 AM.

Pauillac or Saint-Estèphe but if you don't have the choice : Cabernet.

I am looking at the restaurant's wine list. They seem to have the ones you mentioned.
What would you recommend:
1982 Château Montrose, St. Estephe
or
2005 Château Clerc Milan, Pauillac
2005 Château Lynch-Bages, Pauillac
2005 Château Pontet-Canet, Pauillac

If you have to go over their wine list quickly and see which one would fit best a Kobe steak, please let me know, thanks.
