Just had this stuff at a local restaurant, part of New Belgiums "Lips of Faith" program. Never heard of the program or the beer, but it was damn tasty.

Fall Wild Ale

Fall Wild Ale, our mahogany-hued autumn ale spiced with schisandra, opens with the floral, earthy notes of fall itself. Schisandra berries, known as "five flavor fruit," possess a panoply of flavors . This malt-forward dubbel ale is fermented with a Trappist yeast and finishes dry and slightly sour from a touch of bretta.

Fall Wild Ale weighs in at 8.5% abv.

BUMP......Tried a new IPA the other day....Pliny The Elder out of Russian River Brewing, bottled and delivered quite fresh as beer goes. Bottled Jan 6, I grabbed a bottle from Whole Foods in Campbell on the 22nd...

yeah you cant argue about taste - but given that i am german, drinking since the age of 14, i could say that i come a long way around the beer and drinking scene in all europe - i never saw some of the beer presented here...

honestly i dont want to try some of those, cause they look crepy and cant have much in common with the traditional beer...
