tonight's damage
i don't need to drink every night but, when i do, i do it in style. and what better way to pre-party for my Tokyo trip tomorrow?
the '85s are drinking quite nice right now (not to say they couldn't last a lot longer), especially after they sit about an hour in the bottle (no decanting, you might lose some nuances if you're not careful); 96 still very young, but this is one of my favorite vineyards in the world (Les Brulees) and it's really just a beautiful thing after 2 hours or so.
give me Burgundy or give me death...
