Caymus 2006 Special Selection Cab
This post could be either in the food or the wine section, but love it here.
Tasting notes: Very jammy with lots of currant, smooth front to back with great body, late pepper, nice balance of oak and long expected finish.
Wonderful wine. Great for that special night. It was my first try and won't be my last. Thanks Bacchus for the recommendation.

Wow, I just finished a beautifully roasted chicken, stuffed with rosemary and garlic, mashed potatoes with Dijon, marinated asparagus slightly charred on the grill, all of it topped off with a Madeira reduction gravy. More-over, I'm sitting here drinking a Rosenblum Snow Lake (a killer in it's own right) and yet somehow you've got me hungry and wishing I had some Caymus in my glass....
That is one of my favorite bottles of wine, drinks great on release and it cellars well. Glad to hear you liked it. (And next time, invite me over!)Loves wine, women and song

Had a customer ask for this two weeks ago, so I recently placed an order for it and picked up 2 cases on a killer deal. Sitting on 1 case, and I have to say it is a fantastic bottle.
