Default Corks - WTF do you do with them?

For whatever reason, I save all the corks. Some have notes on them from trips and special occasions. We have a gigantic wine glass full of them and a drawer with more. Anybody have any creative ideas? Does everyone else just throw them away?

Depends the bottle, I drink a lot of wine so I usually toss the corks but as Riley said if it is a import night or something worth keeping the memory, I keep it.

I have had many friends who get a picture frame and place them inside.
I think their are specialty frames just for this purpose.

One friend has covered an entire wall with them. Glue & Cork.
Will be a nightmare to remove.

I've got a similar idea for my corks. So far I've got a couple hundred or so sitting in various bins around my first floor. I've got many more beer bottle caps that I would like to get an artist friend of mine to do a giant collage with.

LOL I also have been known to write on the corks with a sharpie. For the most part I save them and one day i'm going to make a huge cork board and hot glue them all to the board.

I love the idea that pottery barn/ crate & barrel did was take a large floor glass vase and just throw them into those- cheap and easy way to show off your past and current collection!

I think we are here to achieve something. It's one life.
Whatever you do, keep yourself and people around you happy.
Even if you can't help them, don't harm them. I think that is pretty much life. Keep going, don't stand.
You got nothing to lose. Keep going, it's life.

I've got two big boxes of them. Only keep the all natural ones. Not quite sure why, always figured I'd do a wine cellar wall or door or something with them some day...

Like the idea of writing on them with a sharpie. I've always kept a separate wine journal but lately haven't been maintaining it very religiously.
