Default Too much Cabernet - any Bay Area winos interested??

    L4Pers,

I've come to the realization that I have way too much Cabernet in my cellar. I've been lucky enough to have picked up a lot of bottles recently for really good prices, and I'd like to share them with folks locally (shipping wine is a pain that I'd rather avoid).

Anyone interested?? I've got multiple bottles (upwards of a case in some instances) available of the following:

    2004 Kenwood Artist Series - $40.00
    2004 Grgich Hills - $40.00
2005 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District - $35.00
    2005 Groth Oakville - $35.00
    2005 Pine Ridge Oakville - $45.00
    2005 Vine Cliff Oakville - $32.00

Pricing is at least 20% cheaper than lowest price online or from Costco. Reply here or PM if you're interested.

    Cheers!

Have you had the Vine Cliff? I was out there in 2000 with a buddy that knows that couple and I picked up some awesome vintages from late 90's. I recently was back out and picked up some 2005's and was not impressed at all from the earlier vintages, not sure whats going on there but the place is amazing.

Haven't busted open any of the Vine Cliff recently. I lay down my cabs for a minimum of 6 years, and typically closer to 10 if it's a particularly good vintage. Premium cabs are more like 12-15 years. I busted open a '94 Beringer Private Reserve and '93 BV Georges de Latour when I was at Delmonico in Vegas last month, and they were quite tasty.

Got some new stuff available, and updated the list with pricing.
