Default Wheel suggestion for C5Z06? Other than the usual CCWs...

I've wanted one for a while and it HAD to have CCW SP500's or 505's. Now, they look plain to me and I can't figure out why. Maybe all these awesome concave designs have made the CCW's look plain...

Any suggestions, and pics? Would love to see a red one with some different options...

Oh yeah, I'm not a big fan of wheels with rivets around the edges.

I don't like CCWs on a Corvette, other than classics for a race car. I also felt that propper forged wheels was a bit dumb, since the wheels are 25% the cost of the car.

So....my solutions: Forgestar F14, CF5, CF10 or TSW Nurburgring or Interlagos. My car is the blue one below, I went with the Forgestar F14 because it was the only option when I purchased. I also like the Interlagos. Search the C5 section on CorvetteForum and you'll find several.

I also think the appropriate size for non-competition wheels is 18" front, 19" rear.

    Is this your car too?

I really think I like the f14's. They look like they have a slight concave look, is that the case?

That is a different car, his are black and mine are gunmetal. Otherwise, same fitments and same tires even.

OP, what color is your car?

Actually, yes. There was interference of around 0.060" if I recall. In any event, I ground about 1/8" off of the rear axle stubs. Took about 3-4 minutes a side with a 4.5" grinder. The other important note is that the Forgestars are not hubcentric on the Corvette, so you have to run hub centering rings. Annoying, but not a big deal for me- but definitely not a "bespoke" custom wheel. Still, hard to find a lightweight aftermarket wheel that's not $5k plus a set.

To answer the earlier question I missed, there is some amount of concavity, especially in the rear.

The red car above with the TSW Interlagos is a friend of mine; no axle shaft grinding required to fit. Not sure if they are hubcentric or not.

I ran 3 piece Symbolic SL1's on mine. 20" at all four corners. Looked sick with an aggressive fitament.

I know you said no CCW, but the C14s are beautiful on a C5Z IMO
