Knowing when to draw the line............that depends on who owns the car. Lot's of pimp-style people graduate to high end cars but have that pimp-style still in their heart.
I was talking to a young guy from the hood who was admiring my car. He had aspirations for his life and said that when he made it big he would buy himself a nice car and put 22 or 24 inch Asanti's on it. After giving him the speech about being responsible with money, I told him that if he planned well he can get whatever he wants....but try to have class. I told him Asanti's were the high end ghetto wheels, meaning they are the first wheels guys from the hood get. I told him to be different. To not emulate others from the hood.
He looked at me like I was from outer space then said the guys from the hood won't know how much he spent if he buys something they don't know anything about. I laughed but told him his thinking was logical.
The point....you can take a man out of the hills but you can't take the hills out of the man.
